Cade's 4th Birthday

Cade has been talking about his birthday for months! He wanted a transformer party. We had our friend Rebecca make the awesome cake, and he invited several of his friends from school (Logan and Janie), and the kids in the neighborhood that he plays with. Michelle commented at one point that she has never seen Cade so excited, and I think that she was probably right. Cade had the time of his life, which made everything SO worth it. Cade did GREAT, I was so proud of how good he was the whole day. When I asked Cade what his favorite part of the day was, he said "that everybody came!" Love that kid.

4 year old facts:
Favorite Toy/TV show: Transformers (he watches the old school episodes all of the time!)
Favorite Drink: Rootbeer
Favorite Food: Pizza, but only if it's cut into small squares so that it will "fit" in his mouth!
Favorite Friend: He likes everyone with a pulse! He is such a loving kid!
Cade wakes up at about 5:00 am and climbs in bed with us every night. Once he even came in and said "get out of my spot mom!"
Cade loves Coleman and loves being a "big boy". He shows Coleman how to do things, and is very good at telling me when Coleman is getting into trouble.

Cade has started sunbeams in primary, and it has been tough, but he's getting the hang of it! He is doing fantastic in preschool. I think that he's ready for the next challenge as far as schooling is concerned, and we're super excited that he received a scholarship worth a LOT of money to a specialized school in Salt Lake. He will start this fall. I will be very sad that he will be gone for most of the day (Mon-Thurs), but I am excited that he will get to participate in such an amazing program with amazing people.

Cade is one-of-a-kind. He puts life into perspective for me every day, and helps me realize what is important. Cade has a huge heart, and an even bigger smile. I feel like Cade has helped make me the person that I am today, and he has also helped to make our family what it is. I couldn't imagine life without him! I love you, buddy!

T-Ball... Another attempt

Cade started t-ball a few weeks ago. So far it's going tons better than last year (last year it was all I could do to keep him on the correct field). So far he is having a great time. He loves his hat and jersey, and tackles whoever has the ball.
